Hi, Laurel. I think I’ve figured out the lie. It took me much longer to figure out how to post a comment! Before I reveal the lie, and why I think it is the lie, let me thank you for pushing me into finally setting up a blog. I may change where it is, but a start is a start.
Ok, I think the lie is #1. In your blog, you wrote that in elementary school, you and Susan made books as you describe in answer #1. You also state that this was around 4th grade, which was before computers. You would have been in 4th grade around 1984-85, and there were computers and word processors by that time. I wrote my college papers in those years on a Compaq “portable” using Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet software, set to one really wide column, and a dot-matrix printer.
Congratulations on your new book! I’m looking forward to reading it. After I set up this new blog.
